The mission of The Group Institute is to educate and empower the individual, not the system. The Group Institute is a modern, contemporary implementation of traditional philosophical values as articulated by Aristotle, which emphasizes social responsibility as a driving principle of life. We strive to educate by example, to instill in society the values of individual responsibility disseminated through our international policy development and our worldwide community of thought-leaders.
Our Foundations
The foundations of our work are the values of morality, dignity and equal rights. We also believe in the dignity of the individual, the primacy of a democracy and the need to support the rule of law. For us, economic, social and cultural factors are of crucial importance, which justifies our high-quality standards, objective decision-making and the balance of power we believe central between the authorities and the people.
The concepts of freedom and democracy should be established by the processes of reform and not only by electoral elections. We do not believe that that ordinary people have the right to deprive themselves of the possibility of decision-making, and instead the enshrinement of these principles depends on us moving into the future.
